Recap: GOSH Roadmap Coworking Session

Last month, GOSH hosted it's first ever roadmap coworking session, with participants joining from around the world to share acheivements and work together on different projects related to the GOSH Roadmap. These projects included the GOSH Ambassador Program, the Open Science Hardware (OScH) Project Directory, and the Open Science Shop. Open Source Hardware Directory Kickoff: Happening February 2024

Join the GOSH Community and Internet of Production Alliance for a workshop to create a searchable and indexable project directory for open science hardware (OSH) projects. This workshop is open to anyone involved in the open source hardware community, and is happening on February 12th. Find out more about the workshop here!

Opportunities

Open Environmental Data Project (OEDP) will be supporting a one-year, fulltime Civic Science Fellow. The fellow will focus on open data and environmental data governance. Find out more at the OEDP website. Deadline to apply is January 17, 2024.

Re:publica24 is happening from 27-29 May 2024 in Berlin, Germany.

The Social Science Research Council is seeking applicants for the Just Tech Fellowship. Deadline to applyJanuary 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Registration is open for the UK's Open Technology Conference, taking place in Central London from February 6-7, 2024. Find out more here.

FOSDEM 2024 and OFFDEM 2024 are happening in Brussels, Belgium, from February 3-4, 2024. 

The 2024-2025 Civic Science fellows positions are open for applications. 

The first call of the NGI Zero Commons Fund opens up in February with a deadline of April 1st 2024.

Open Call: S+T+ARTS PRIZE AFRICA is an initiative of the European Commission to foster alliances of technology and artistic practice. The focus is on people and projects that contribute to mastering the social, ecological, and economic challenges. Deadline to apply is March 1st, 2024

The Open.Make project has received more funding to work on hardware publication and building maker communities at local institutions.
